We are looking for a commercially strong and analytical procurement professional who can drive cost optimization, build strategic CMO partnerships, and contribute to a robust and competitive supplier base within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
About the job
In this role, you will be a core team member of the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) reporting to Director Supplier Relationship Management, Your main area is to optimize procurement costs, oversee and maintain contracts and strengthen commercial collaboration with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). You will play a key role in sourcing strategies and category management, negotiations, and ensuring that procurement recommendations support both commercial objectives and quality requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sourcing and category strategies for pharmaceutical CMOs to drive cost efficiency and long-term value
- Leading negotiations with CMOs to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions while continuously driving COGS reductions
- Managing contract lifecycles, including reviewing, updating, amending, and terminating agreements as needed
- Supporting source selection processes, including RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, and recommendations
- Collaborating closely within the SRT and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned supplier management, performance tracking, and risk mitigation
You will be part of the Supplier Relationship Team in CMO Operations and work closely with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development and other key functions across Orifarm.
Who are you?
You are an experienced procurement professional with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to navigate complex, regulated supply chain environments. You combine analytical skills with relationship-building and negotiation expertise.
You bring:
- An MSc or BSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, preferably within pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings and cost avoidance
- Good understanding of supplier relationship management, KPIs, and category management
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and GMP
- Experience working with ERP systems, data analysis, and financial evaluations
- Fluency in business English and the ability to work effectively across cultures and organizations
- A structured, data-driven approach, strong decision-making skills, and confidence working with numbers
