Orifarm is looking for a Global Safety Specialist with a passion for patient safety and a talent for translating complex data into clear safety insights. In this role, you’ll be a key player in driving pharmacovigilance activities and ensuring our products meet the highest global safety standards.

The Global Safety Specialist will contribute to maintaining drug safety standards and supporting patient health. This role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a solid background in pharmacovigilance and data analysis.

The Global Safety Specialist will assist in ensuring drug safety and efficacy standards. This position involves supporting the preparation of reports, contributing to signal detection activities, and assisting with data analysis.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Report Preparation:

    • Assist in the preparation of Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs).
    • Support the timely submission of PBRERs.

Signal Detection:

    • Contribute to signal detection activities to identify potential safety issues.
    • Assist in analyzing data from various sources.

Information Search:

    • Support the search for new information on drug safety and efficacy.
    • Stay updated with scientific literature and regulatory changes.

Decision-Making support:

    • Support the search for new information on drug safety and efficacy.

Data Analysis:

    • Support the search for new information on drug safety and efficacy.

Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all pharmacovigilance activities comply with global regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor changes in regulations and adapt processes accordingly.

Continuous Improvement:

    • Contribute to the improvement of pharmacovigilance processes and systems.
    • Participate in training and development activities.

 

Who are you?

Ideal candidate would have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance.
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance databases, signal detection methodologies, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret data sets and derive insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support decision-making based on data and evidence.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in work.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
