We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong pharmaceutical manufacturing background who can build strategic supplier partnerships, lead cross-functional teams, and drive performance, quality, and value creation across our external manufacturing network.

About the job

As our Director, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and other external partners supplying semi-finished and finished pharmaceutical products to Orifarm Generics. You will act as the key interface between Orifarm and our suppliers, ensuring strong collaboration, high performance, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cross-functional Supplier Relationship Teams (SRTs) to ensure end-to-end oversight of products, processes, and performance across quality, supply chain, procurement, and technical areas
  • Driving supplier performance through KPI governance, Business Review Meetings, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing and executing account plans and long-term (3–5 year) supplier strategies aligned with Orifarm’s healthcare strategy
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for supplier issues, risks, and opportunities
  • Leading major improvement, innovation, and performance optimization projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers

You will be part of the Orifarm Generics organization and work closely with both Healthcare and Corporate functions. The role includes line management responsibility and close collaboration with functional heads across the organization.

 

Who are you? 

You are an experienced people leader with deep knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and external supplier management. You combine strategic thinking with strong operational execution and feel comfortable working in a complex, regulated environment.

You bring:

  • A technical master’s degree (e.g. Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering) combined with strong commercial understanding
  • Minimum 8–10 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally including site-level leadership
  • Solid knowledge of GMP/GDP, technical operations, validation, and quality systems
  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management, performance governance, and stakeholder management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and drive change
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Job Location

Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid work model – 3x/week from the office located in the prestigious Gdański Business Center at Inflancka 4.

Travelling to external network is included in the role and is estimated around 60 days per year.
