As the Director, Data & Analytics you will be responsible for end-to-end management and development of the Orifarm’s data and analytics capabilities and services. This role ensures the availability, accuracy, governance, and business value from data across Orifarm.
The role has overall leadership responsibility across Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management, and Data Architecture to design, build, operate, and continuously improve enterprise data platforms, BI, analytics solutions, and master data management that enable reliable business operations, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision making.
The role ensures data is treated as a strategic and governed asset while delivering actionable insights that improve business processes, operational efficiency and strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Your key responsibilities include:
- responsibility for the Data & Analytics function, staffing, skills development, and organisational performance management
- ownership of enterprise data architecture, models, and frameworks ensuring consistency, re-use, and regulatory compliance
- ownership of data platform operations and services
- accountability for BI dashboards, KPI frameworks, and standardised reporting
- accountability for establishment master data domains including but not limited to: Product, Customer, Vendor, Pricing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain Reference Data
- ensuring data privacy, retention, accessibility, and security controls operate in compliance with GDPR, GDP, GxP and internal standards
- serving as primary liaison to senior management regarding company-wide data initiatives, reporting modernisation, and analytics investments
- responsibility for driving legacy decommissioning of out-dated data services and build a robust modern data setup to support business
- participating in vendor governance, contract renewals, tool evaluations, and platform lifecycle planning including decommission and rationalisation
- managing vendor relationships
- orchestrating cross functional collaboration within Orifarm and IT
You will lead the Data and Analytics function to deliver on the key tasks:
Data Platform & Engineering
- Defining and maintaining ingestion and data transformation for internal and external data sources (commercial, ERP, WMS, market intelligence)
- Overseeing ETL/ELT pipeline design, code quality, orchestration scheduling, and monitoring
- Ensuring data models support scalability, performance, and traceability from source to consumption
Data Architecture
- Developing enterprise data models definitions aligned with master data standards
- Maintaining data catalogue, lineage documentation, metadata management, and semantic data layers
- Validating solution designs for new system implementations and integrations (ERP, CRM, WMS, MES, Regulatory etc.)
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Defining standardised KPI libraries and aligned reporting definitions across the Orifarm.
- Managing analytics workload intake, prioritisation, and stakeholder sign-off
Data Science & Advanced Analytics
- Identifying and implementing data products and predictive analytics models supporting: Demand forecasting, Margin optimisation / pricing strategy, Process automation, Risk scoring (supply, regulatory, credit, compliance).
Master Data Management
- Establishing and controling master data policies, stewardship roles, and data quality monitoring processes
- Managing workflows for creation, change, and approval of master data in ERP / MDM tools
- Conducting data cleansing, matching, deduplication, and enrichment efforts
You will report to the CIO, working closely with colleagues across Orifarm’s international organization.
Who are you?
You bring:
- +10 years’ experience within data and analytics with +5 years leadership experience within data/analytics roles in medium-to-large organisations
- Master’s degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Experience working in regulated industries (ideally Pharma or Medical / Life Sciences)
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, WMS, or regulatory systems and their underlying data models
- Experience leading organisational change and building data literacy across business functions
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor and consulting partner relationships
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary data organisations covering Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, Data Architecture, and MDM
- Proven success developing and executing enterprise data strategies that improved business performance and regulatory readiness
- Documented success in designing and scaling analytics platforms in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Proven ability to establish and enforce data governance frameworks, including stewardship and data quality measurement
- Evidence of delivering business impact through predictive analytics, insight automation, or operational analytics programs
- Deep knowledge of modern data platform architectures (data lake, warehouse, streaming, API integration)
- Familiarity with machine learning model lifecycle management, feature engineering, and monitoring concepts
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory data requirements (e.g., GxP, GDP, batch traceability, product serialisation)
- Knowledge in data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, retention rules, access control policies)
- Being strategic, structured, and disciplined in execution and documentation
- Adaptable and innovative mindset to proactively develop Data and Analytics to a high performing department delivering tangible value to Orifarm
- Strong leadership presence; comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks, solutions and actionable outputs

Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid work model – 3x/week from the office located in the prestigious Gdański Business Center at Inflancka 4A.
