We are looking for a Back End Developer who will work on developing and improving data solutions that support reporting and analytics across the business. The role involves building data models, setting up ETL processes, and making sure data is accurate and available for use in BI tools like Power BI.

The Back End Developer supports the organization’s move toward more data-driven decision-making by helping turn business needs into reliable technical solutions. It includes working closely with other teams to understand data requirements, improve data processes, and contribute to the overall quality of BI systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Data Modelling & Development
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable data models that support reporting and analytics across the business
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized platforms
- Optimize performance of data processing and reporting workflows
2. Business & Technical Alignment
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and implement appropriate data solutions
- Act as a link between IT and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Support digital business optimization by delivering effective and reusable BI solutions that create measurable value
3. Quality, Governance & Documentation
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through rigorous validation and transformation processes
- Support compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, GDPR)
- Document data flows, models, and solution architectures to ensure transparency and maintainability
4. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Collaborate closely with front-end BI developers, analysts, and business users to support end-to-end solution delivery
- Provide training and support to colleagues on BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BI architecture, standards, and practices
5. Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide Level 2 support for BI-related incidents and data issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations
Who are you?
The ideal candidate combines a solid understanding of data platforms and BI concepts with a keen interest in learning and improving, is detail-oriented, comfortable working with SQL-based tools, and able to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions are key traits for success in this role.
You bring:
- Proven proficiency in developing BI solutions using T-SQL and SSAS (Multidimensional and Tabular) models, in real-world production environments
- Proven experience with data integration and ETL development using SSIS
- Solid experience in data modelling and working with relational databases using MS SQL Server (on-prem)
- Good understanding of dimensional modelling approaches (Kimball or Inmon)
- Practical Experience with Power BI and DAX
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, MS Fabric) is an advantage
- Ability to analyse complex business needs and implement technical solutions
- Awareness of data quality, governance, and compliance in a regulated industry
- Relevant educational background in IT, computer science, or a related field

Job Location
Warsaw office located at Inflancka 4A. We promote work life flexibility and as part of that it is possible to work from home 2 days a week.
