About the job 

Join us at Orifarm as our new Brand Manager OTC, a pivotal role where you’ll take the lead in building and executing growth strategies, launching new products and brands, managing the product portfolio and owning brand communication in close collaboration with key pharmacy customers and internal stakeholders.

As Brand Manager OTC, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading growth initiatives with focus on the OTC category (prescription free medicine)
  • Developing and executing strong Go-To-Market sales- and communication plans
  • Managing brand strategy, portfolio planning, and leading sell-in presentations to central pharmacy customers
  • Coordinating campaign development from concept to regulatory approval
  • Driving new product development (NPD), analysing business cases, sales and market data and collaborating with the Global team to shape the Swedish OTC portfolio
  • Managing contacts with agencies and partners with a consumer- and customer-centric approach
  • Supporting OTC projects and advising internally on medical-scientific matter.
  • Creating and reviewing communication and educational material for both consumers and Health Care Professionals, ensuring compliance with Swedish pharmaceutical marketing regulations

This is a role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ideas from concept to execution. You will be reporting to Head of Consumer Healthcare Sweden.

 

Who are you? 

We’re looking for a seasoned Brand Manager who thrives in a fast-moving environment and has a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market.

We hope that you to fulfil several of below points:

  • Preferably 3 years’ experience in a Brand Manager/Project manager role within the pharmaceutical or related industry, You could also have a background as Category manger from Pharmacy chains, or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree, Pharmacist degree (preferred), biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent
  • Experience working with central pharmacy customers
  • Project management skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and ethical rules (e.g. LVFS 2009:6, LIF, LER);

Additionally, it is important that you are:

  • Strategic yet hands-on
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and drives results
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and in presentations
  • Structured and an eye for details
  • Creative, yet data driven
  • A collaborative team player
  • Easily navigates in a complex industry with many stakeholders both internal and external
