As our new Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding Orifarm’s footprint in the Spanish healthcare market. You’ll lead the charge in identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to our strategic growth and commercial success in Spain.
About the job
As Sales Manager, you will lead the sales strategy and execution for parallel-imported pharmaceutical products in the Spanish market. Your mission is to drive revenue growth, expand market penetration, and ensure compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing relationships with key wholesalers, pharmacies, and hospital groups.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to optimize profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with supply chain, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Guide and support the sales team to meet targets and maintain high customer satisfaction
Who are you?
We expect you to be an experienced sales professional with a strong background in B2B account management with at least 5 years of experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in retail or hospital. We expect you to be a strategic thinker with a proven track record and have experience in building and developing teams.
Additionally, it is important that you are skilled in negotiation and have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional collaborations and drive results. It is essential that you possess analytical skills and have experience with market analysis. If you are familiar with parallel import regulations and healthcare distribution channels it will be an advantage.
Furthermore, it’s an advantage to understand English, however, you don’t have to be fluent in speaking it.
