About the job
We are looking for a new Student Assistant to join the OTC Business Development Team. You will report to the OTC Business Development Managers and provide valuable support across a range of analytical, administrative, and coordination tasks.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday and between 8 am and 4 pm. You will work closely with full-time colleagues and be part of a team with other committed and skilled student assistants.
This role is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial and strategic side of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically focused on over-the-counter (OTC) products across European markets.
You will be part of a small, dynamic, and cross-functional team operating in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of international exposure.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Data handling:
• Conduct market screenings analysis for OTC products using internal software tools; summarize key market dynamics, trends, and competitor insights.
• Input and maintain data within supplier management systems to support business case development across various markets
• Assist in gathering and validating data for new projects evaluation from our markets
Powerpoint:
• Assist the management team in preparing PowerPoint presentations
Excel:
• Assist the Business Development team in setting up business cases
• Assist the team in setting up graphs and overviews for relevant presentations using Power BI tools
Samples handling:
• Serve as the main point of contact for sample coordination
• Request, receive, and store product samples from suppliers in an organized and traceable manner
• Prepare and dispatch product samples to suppliers, internal departments, and market teams as needed
Administrative & ad hoc tasks:
• Support with maintaining shared folders
• Take meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up by summarizing action points and tracking responsibilities
• Assisting the management team in coordinating and planning team or stakeholder events
• Various ad hoc tasks supporting management and team members
Who are you?
We expect you to study business administration, Economics, Marketing related study or similar and you have preferably 2-3 years left of your studies. You are eager to work around 10-15 hours per week, and we offer flexibility during exams and holidays.
Ideally you:
• Have strong attention to detail and a structured working style
• Possess solid coordination and communication skills
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Have a proactive and curious mindset
• Speak and write English fluently (Danish is a plus, but not required)
• You welcome new challenges and can also thrive on routine tasks
Who are we?
The OTC Business Development Team is part of Orifarm’s Consumer Healthcare Department. We are responsible for identifying, evaluating, and in-licensing new Over the Counter products across Europe. We collaborate closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Quality, Regulatory and our markets.
You will be based in our Søborg office and work alongside the Consumer Healthcare Department colleagues who enjoy supporting assistants in learning and growing professionally.
