We are looking for a strong commercial leader to drive the Danish Rx portfolio, combining strategic direction with operational excellence. As Head of Specialty Rx, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Rx business in Denmark. 

 

About the job  

In this role, you will be responsible for the commercialization and operation of the Danish Rx Commercial Healthcare portfolio. You will be part of the DK Commercial Leadership team and ensure strong execution and continuous development of the Rx business. 

 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Define and continuously update strategy for Gx and promoted Rx and align with VP DK Sales & CCO.  

  • Define and continuously develop pricing strategies with measurable KPIs on top products.  

  • Drive portfolio excellence (e.g. pack sizes, gap filling unused MAs, pruning, dose dispensing, gross-to-net effect, stock overview). Develop and defend the promoted Rx portfolio through current and new launches, including involvement in Business Development & M&A activities.  

  • Ensure and contribute to the S&OP process, demand forecasting, and rolling forecast improvements.  

  • Deliver on financial targets and ensure transparency in business performance (e.g. month-end, BC and demand reviews). 

  • Drive close collaboration with key stakeholders across Global, Operations, and Business Development to ensure alignment and execution. 

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, SOPs, and high-quality communication standards 

You will report to VP DK Sales and join the Danish team.

 

Who are you?  

You bring a strong commercial mindset combined with cross-functional leadership experience and the ability to drive both strategy and execution. 

 

You likely have: 

  • A relevant educational background such as M.Sc. in International Technology Management, Business Administration or similar field. 

  • Minimum +8 years of experience within pharma, healthcare, or a related commercial environment.  

  • Minimum +5 years of cross-functional leadership experience with a focus on collaboration, performance, and engagement.  

  • Strong business acumen and experience with P&L responsibility. 

  • In-depth knowledge of tender and healthcare models, particularly within generics and substitutional medicines. 

  • Experience from commercial platforms such as generics, biosimilars, and/or patented medicines. 

  • Experience working with pricing strategies, portfolio management, and commercial excellence.  

  • The ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and drive cross-functional collaboration. 

  • A strong understanding of end-to-end business operations.
