We are looking for a structured and proactive professional with a pharmaceutical background and solid knowledge of Norwegian food supplement regulations. As our Regulatory & Quality Advisor for VMS/CHC, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance and quality standards in Orifarm’s Norwegian Consumer Health portfolio during a maternity leave period.

About the job 

In this maternity cover role, you will have responsibility for the regulatory and quality activities related to our Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements (VMS) and Consumer Health Care (CHC) products in Norway. You will act as our regulatory contact towards Norwegian authorities and ensure that our products meet all requirements within Norwegian and EU legislation.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring implementation and compliance with Norwegian and EU regulations for food supplements and cosmetics.
  • Acting as Orifarm’s regulatory and scientific representative towards the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet).
  • Preparing and implementing regulatory action plans.
  • Approving artwork and consumer communication for assigned product categories.
  • Managing applications and notifications to authorities (Mattilsynet, Farmalogg, etc.)
  • Approving of advertisement for the following product categories: medicines, food supplements, cosmetics and medical devices
  • Maintaining and developing SOPs within the CHC area.
  • Participating in QA projects and implementing new processes and routines locally (assess the need for SOP update, training, etc).
  • Approving product texts for the Felleskatalogen (OTC).
  • Acting as deputy for the Responsible Pharmacist (FFA).
  • Preparing for and following up on inspections from authorities.


You will report to Jon-Arne Vilbo and be part of the OTC/CHC Department, working closely with colleagues in Corporate Compliance, Sales Support, Supply Chain, and VMS/QA, as well as with our Artwork Team in Denmark.

We imagine that your profile includes:

  • A university degree in pharmacy (or similar scientific discipline).
  • Have experience within the pharmaceutical or food supplement industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Norwegian and EU regulatory frameworks (especially GDP).
  • Experience within Regulatory Affairs and/or Quality Assurance.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • A structured, detail-oriented working style and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • A collaborative attitude and the confidence to represent Orifarm towards authorities.
