We are looking for a senior executive responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the organization’s IT & technology, software development and business engagement landscape. This role bridges the gap between business objectives and technological capabilities, ensuring that IT initiatives drive innovation, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

About the job 

As Vice President – Business Engagement & Platform Solutions, you will act as the strategic technology partner to the CIO, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping Orifarm’s technology strategy and ensuring IT delivers measurable business value.  You will lead the business partner transformation and be responsible for end2end platform solutions where adoption to our main business areas are crucial for the company’s transformation and ability to scale towards our new goals and strategy.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the Extended Leadership Team to support strategic directions for IT and technology.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement IT roadmaps aligned with business goals and priorities
• Lead the digital innovation agenda, including cloud adoption, AI integration, and data-driven decision-making
• Oversee the management of IT, enterprise applications, lifecycle management and IT frameworks
• Build and lead high-performing IT Teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
• Challenge the business on innovation and digital capabilities ensuring the correct strategic approach and decisions
• Through modern digital technologies, driving innovation, efficiency, and scalability across systems to enable technology and to increase efficiency and time to deliver

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a new IT delivery model and set the strategic direction for the newly established end2end platform teams.

You will report to the CIO and be part of the Corporate IT Management.

Who are you? 

We expect you to have a Master’s degree in IT, Digital Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field with more than 10 years of IT & Business Leadership experience preferably within IT Development, Business Engagement, or IT Transformation.

It is expected that you;

• Have led enterprise digital transformation initiatives with measurable results
• Have a strong track record in leading enterprise digital transformation, linking business strategy to IT execution, and managing complex IT portfolios.
• Executive presence, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration.
• Are experienced in regulated sectors (pharma/life sciences is preferred).
• Fluency in English

Job Location

The position is located in Odense but with the possibility of working from home two days a week.
