Solution Architect - Pharma Trade

We are building a new end-to-end team to support our Pharma Trade business, and we’re looking for a Solution Architect to help shape scalable, integrated solutions from idea to execution.
You’ll work close to the business, influence architectural decisions, and turn complex needs into robust, value-driven IT solutions.

About the job

As Solution Architect, you’ll be part of an end-to-end delivery department focused on our Pharma Trade commercial platform. The team  consists of professionals located in Denmark and Europe, and you will have to work and collaborate with colleagues in multiple countries.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, management, Solution Leads and Specialists, to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose digital solutions. Your expertise will help drive change, optimize our technical landscape, and continuously improve value, processes and systems, that can continuously enable our commercial organization in driving business value.

You will play a central role in modernizing our current application portfolio from a legacy based on-prem to a cloud based platform.
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who thrives in transformation and technical development, and who brings strong cross-organizational collaboration skills and a business oriented mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and advising on custom solutions built specifically for Pharma Trade.
• Responsibility of overall solution architecture within the Pharma Trade IT portfolio.
• Leading service design phases and maintaining technical documentation.
• Mapping IT services to business capabilities and supporting technical portfolio development.
• Ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions and business value.

Who are you? 

We expect you to both have a strong technical knowledge and at the same time take high pride in your executional skills. We also expect that you have:

•  5+ years of proven experience in IT solution architecture.
•  Strong skills in solution design, technical documentation, and business value creation.
•  Experience in designing custom solutions that are centered around data, based on cloud technology.  
• Experience in application modernization from on-prem to cloud.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating across teams, business units, and management groups.
• Structured, analytical, and able to manage from high-level architecture to detailed technical design (proven in previous corporate initiatives such as solution platform deliveries).
• Experience with CRM is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Who are we? 

We are a newly established team within Orifarm Corporate IT. Our mission is to provide end-to-end IT services for the Pharma Trade Business Unit.

The team is currently consistent of 10 employees, and will have a daily interface with both business and other IT teams and functions.

Job Location

HQ, Odense Denmark.
Hybrid work. Expect limited 15-20 days of travel per year.
