Senior Project Manager

About the job 

You will be responsible for one or several projects running in parallel, and you lead the full project team, manage and allocate resources, project time plans, risk assessments, and project budgets.

It is paramount in this role that you can build strong and professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring coordination, follow-up, and progress. By doing so, you ensure successful project deliverables that are fully compliant with the business’s expectations and project targets.

Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Play a big role in Orifarm’s Strategic Execution – We are playing to win
• Drive projects through thorough preparation of detailed project plans
• Coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Identification of potential risks and development of mitigation strategies
• Ensure that schedules and budgets are adhered to
• Report to management on the project’s progress and results

You will join the department, Corporate Strategic Projects, and report to the Head of Corporate Projects, Camilla Westermark Jensen. Your main stakeholders are our sponsors and SteerCo members, who are primarily represented by members from our Functional Leadership Teams across the business.

Bring a passion for change; you will both contribute to and facilitate ongoing improvements and changes in your projects, while also improving Project Maturity in Orifarm. We have ambitious plans – so be prepared to jump on a moving train.

Who are you? 

We are looking for a colleague who has 8+ years of experience with project management and demonstrated skills in handling and managing complex projects. It would be ideal if you are familiar with driving projects in an international environment or a matrix organisation.

We expect that you master the project toolbox and have experience in workshop facilitation, Project Benefit Realisation, and preferably experience with IT projects. As a professional, you have the right commercial attitude, also demonstrating that our projects remain sound investments.

It is not a prerequisite that you have worked in a Pharmaceutical company before, but it can be an advantage.

You will be working in close cooperation with colleagues across departments and from the various countries in which we operate. Because of this, great communication skills and an understanding of cultural differences are important.

Who are we? 

The team consists of six colleagues with various backgrounds, and you will be a part of our CFO area, in which Finance, Indirect Procurement, M&A, Legal, among others, are placed.

The culture and tone in the department are open – we laugh a lot and take care of each other. All team members are placed at our HQ in Odense, but we also have a location in Søborg – it is a prerequisite that you will be at our HQ at least 2-3 days per week.
