Category:  Quality Assurance & Quality Compliance
Country/Region:  DK
Location:

Odense S, DK, 5260

For you who thrive on working with quality from an operational perspective, with an eye for both quality and commercial considerations.

We are looking for a Quality Specialist for our Innovation & Launch team who thrives on having a high level of responsibility and enjoys working cross‑functionally and in a project-based manner. As a specialist in the team, you will thrive in an environment characterized by strong professional expertise and clear priorities, where our ultimate goal is to ensure that products reach the market at the right time.

About the job

As a QA Specialist focusing on launches of new products and/or site transfer products, you will help ensure that Orifarm succeeds in bringing products to market with the right quality and at the right time. Your primary task is to ensure alignment with the project organizations managing launches, and to ensure that the quality requirements from development through product release are managed appropriately.

The position is a hub between Quality and the commercial side of the business; therefore it is important that you can meet commercial needs while also ensuring that the launch is carried out in accordance with applicable GMP requirements.

The tasks may therefore include, but is not limited to:

  • Participating in project meetings with various stakeholders, within QA, the project organizations, and the commercial side of the business.
  • Acting as a sparring partner for our manufacturers during production of the product, and coordinating launch activities with our manufacturers.
  • Managing change controls and identifying tasks that must be completed in connection with a launch.
  • Preparing and negotiating quality agreements with new manufacturers, and updating agreements with existing manufacturers in connection with launches.
  • Raising deviations in connection with development, production, and launch.
  • Participating in and supporting the development of new procedures, or optimizing existing procedures, in relation to the tasks above.
  • Release of launch products to the market.

Who are you?

You will join a team with many dedicated colleagues, so it is important that you thrive in an environment where we work at a high pace and where priorities may shift depending on market needs. You are self-driven and thrive on taking responsibility for your own areas and tasks. You enjoy—and have experience with—working in a project-based way and keeping your stakeholders updated. You thrive in a social environment where there is room for both laughter and professional sparring.

In addition, we expect that you:

Are able to work in a structured manner with an eye for detail, and thrive on following SOPs

Are proficient in English, both spoken and written

Have a relevant educational background at master’s level, e.g., pharmacist, biochemist, biomedical scientist, or similar.

Experience from a similar industry is preferred, but not a must.

Who are we?

In the department, we have an informal and positive tone, with room for both laughter and seriousness. Our strong collaboration is characterized by each of us taking responsibility for our own areas while also helping one another in a busy and exciting day-to-day. The team has a variety of tasks, where each specialist brings their own key strengths, and there is always the opportunity for sparring within the team.

The team is part of QA Operations—an area that is growing and currently has approximately 130 employees. The department’s primary goal is to ensure the ongoing operation of our products, from launches to handling market complaints, and we highly value sparring across the different teams.

About Orifarm

Everyone should have access to modern medicine. High prices or lack of access to medicines should never affect our ability to receive treatment or relief and live a healthy life. At Orifarm, we strive to bring healthy days to the people and communities we help by making modern medicine a better business for the people and societies we contribute to. Based on our vision, we aim to create access to affordable, high-quality medicines by challenging markets and always seeking new opportunities. Guided by our core values, we always focus on responsibility—with our customers at the center of our attention. Everything we do is driven by our sole purpose:

For as many as possible, as healthy a day as possible.

Our history dates back to 1994, when Orifarm was founded in Denmark by Hans & Birgitte Bøgh-Sørensen. Since then, Orifarm has grown from a small company of nine people to an international company operating globally in 13 countries. Today, Orifarm is Europe’s largest parallel importer of medicines and Denmark’s largest supplier of medicines, with more than 2,200 employees.

We operate within seven different business areas: Over the Counter (OTC), Consumer Healthcare, Generics, Promotional Rx, Unlicensed Medicines, Parallel Import, and Clinical Trials Supplies (CTS). In addition, we have a strong focus on new business opportunities and synergistic M&A to further expand our offering.

We offer

At Orifarm, we know our growth is rooted in the growth of our employees. We are an ambitious organization characterized by an entrepreneurial culture, and we celebrate both minds and hearts with determination. Our secret behind our success? Valuing how different skills can work together, so that together we create the framework for the journey. Whether you play a direct or indirect role in achieving our goals, you will contribute by using your strengths—personal as well as professional. At Orifarm, your personal growth journey will be shaped by your own contribution to making everyday life healthier for as many people as possible.

We consider our feedback culture a fundamental part of every employee’s opportunity for learning and development. And when we achieve strong results together, all employees—including student assistants—are, of course, included in our bonus scheme.

Location

Your primary day-to-day will be at Orifarm’s headquarters in southern Odense. We emphasize a flexible workday, where all employees should have the opportunity to work from home two days a week—provided this is desired by the employee and aligns with the tasks in question.
