A job with focus on growth

We are looking for a dedicated team member to take part of our unlicensed product portfolio. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to explore new opportunities, and consistently seeks innovative ways to support our growing sales within Unlicensed Medicines.

 

As a Portfolio Specialist, you will work closely with our purchasers to ensure Orifarm secures the lowest possible purchase prices, while meeting the specific supply volume needs of our customers. You will focus on maintaining a high positive cash flow and avoiding obsolete products at all times.

Your role will involve extensive collaboration across our nine sales countries and our production site in Prague. You will explore European and global purchase markets to identify new products and business opportunities. You will engage proactively with stakeholders across the organization while navigating a competitive external environment.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating purchase of pharmaceuticals for unlicensed use in the EU and globally.
  • Providing sourcing options and quotations to internal stakeholders.
  • Handling product allocation and inventory management.
  • Ensuring alignment on decisions through strong collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining, developing, and driving process optimization to fully utilize Orifarm's cross-functional capabilities.
  • Participating in corporate and local project

 

Who are you? 

We are looking for a candidate with a higher education background in business or a related field. Above all, you should have a strong commercial flair and a passion for achieving exceptional results. While experience in the pharmaceutical industry and cross-organizational know-how from a dynamic commercial environment are advantageous, they are not essential.

Attention to detail and an analytical mindset are crucial for understanding the complexity of our value chain and processes. You should be proficient in understanding and following processes and procedures, capable of working independently and systematically towards objectives. A knack for data analysis and familiarity with various IT systems will be beneficial.

Professionally, you are self-driven, outgoing, and possess a proactive, can-do attitude. You thrive in engaging with a diverse range of individuals to achieve mutual goals. Your curiosity, team-player mentality, and skill in identifying stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a requirement.
