Portfolio Specialist

About the job 
We are looking for a candidate who is interested in market changes and have an eye for detail. If you want to help our department creating results that can be seen directly on the bottom line, you may be our next Portfolio Specialist.

You will become an important part of our Portfolio Management area. Portfolio Management is responsible for our active product portfolio, where we are spotting new opportunities and constantly improving the performance of our product portfolio. In addition, we select and launch new parallel imported medicines for sale throughout Europe.

Together with a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for: 

• Optimizing your own product portfolio, where you will follow changes in markets, product performance, inflows of goods and prices. 
• Be responsible for product decisions and tactics together with your stakeholders, e.g. entering contracts, tenders, what and where we buy and sell our products etc.
• Create strong relations to our stakeholders in our sales markets  
• Analytic mindset, working with BI reports and complex data

In this role, you will report to department Manager, Andreas Als. You will be part of a diversified team of skilled colleagues. The team works closely with Sales and Purchase to find the best possibilities for the company.

Who are you? 
We expect you to have 2-3 years of experience and at least a Bachelor’s degree within Business and preferably a commercial background, however it is not required. Most importantly, you are ambitious and have a passion for achieving results.

You will also need to be attentive to details and have an analytical mindset enabling you to conceive the complexity of the value chain and our processes. You thrive with working independently and systematically towards our objectives, deep diving into data, with flair for the use of different IT systems.

As a professional, you are self-driven and outgoing with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude, enjoying working with different people, meeting them at eye level. Being curious and have a team-player mentality as well as an understanding of identifying your stakeholders which will help you succeed in this role. 

Lastly, having experience within the pharmaceutical industry can be an advantage, but is not a requirement. Professional proficiency in English verbal and written is a requirement.

In the daily work, the team is supported from a portfolio support and our talented student assistants.
