Are you our new growth hacker? Join Orifarm at the intersection of data, analytics, and business development. You will turn complex market insights into growth opportunities, strengthen portfolio decisions, improve efficiency, and help expand access to affordable medicines across Europe
About the job
As our Portfolio Intelligence & Analytics Manager you will build and maintain a structured portfolio intelligence capability that identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes external growth opportunities across European markets.
In this role, you will translate market intelligence, competitive insights, and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Business Development, Portfolio Management, and senior stakeholders.
Your contributions will improve the speed, quality, and consistency of portfolio decision-making, enabling Business Developers to focus on high-potential opportunities and value-creating partnerships.
Your key responsibilities:
- Own and continuously develop the portfolio intelligence capability within Business Intelligence
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of relevant licensing and development opportunities in close collaboration with key stakeholders
- Establish analytical frameworks and scoring models for consistent opportunity assessment and prioritization
- Monitor European pharmaceutical markets, competitors, pipelines, portfolio trends, and emerging opportunities
- Provide analytical and decision support across Business Development (Rx & OTC), including opportunity assessments, business cases, and portfolio prioritization
- Apply analytics, automation, AI, and digital tools to improve the scalability and quality of the portfolio intelligence capability
- Support broader Business Intelligence activities, including dashboards, reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses
This role requires on-site presence at our headquarters in Odense twice a week.
Who are you?
We are looking for a commercially minded professional with demonstrated expertise in market intelligence and a strong track record of turning complex data into actionable business insights. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage, particularly within Portfolio Support, Generics, Business Development, Portfolio Management, Market Intelligence, or pharmaceutical consulting. You hold a master’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field.
You know how to connect analytical findings with portfolio priorities and growth opportunities. You can assess markets, competitors, pipelines, strategic fit, risks, and commercial potential, then communicate your conclusions through compelling data visualizations and decision-ready presentations.
In addition, we envision that you bring:
- A can-do attitude and a team-oriented approach
- A curious, proactive mindset and a strong motivation to solve business problems through data
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and turn it into clear, practical recommendations
- Fluency in English. A Nordic language is a plus
- Experience with the Power Platform is an advantage
Who are we?
As part of Business Intelligence, you will join a small, ambitious team working closely with key stakeholders across Business Development in Rx and OTC and with other relevant functions. You will work in a dynamic, international environment with a supportive, feedback-oriented culture where knowledge sharing and collaboration are part of how we succeed.
Why should you join Orifarm?
At Orifarm, we are 2,300 employees united by a shared purpose: improving access to affordable medicine for the people who need it. Founded in Odense, Denmark in 1994 by Birgitte & Hans Bøgh-Sørensen, we have built our business on challenging conventional thinking to make affordable high-quality pharmaceuticals more accessible across Europe. Rather than developing new medicines, we focus on finding smarter ways to bring existing treatments to patients, creating value for pharmacies, healthcare systems, and society.
We live by the mindset Challenge Accepted. It reflects our explorer spirit and can-do attitude, where challenges are perceived as opportunities. We encourage people to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and take ownership. Across teams, functions, and markets, you will find a collaborative and supportive culture built on trust, respect, and a flat hierarchy where everyone has a voice and direct access to decision-makers.
When you join Orifarm, you will be empowered to make a real impact from day one. We offer autonomy and great opportunities for career advancement, enabling our employees to shape their professional development. We value flexibility and provide a hybrid work model with the possibility of working from home two days a week.
