We are looking for a Launch Manager who will coordinate, prepare and manage product launches to the market and enable a smooth transition into commercial routine supply in Supplier Relationship Team in CMO Operations

 

About the job

As Launch Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing product launches to market on the defined launch date. You will ensure a seamless transition from launch phase into routine commercial supply once the product is handed over to SRT. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and a broad range of internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective launches.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end launch responsibility: Plan, coordinate, and execute product launches to target markets, ensuring on time launch and smooth transition to routine commercial supply
  • Supplier & commercial management: Act as primary supplier contact during the launch phase, lead onboarding and meetings. Contract negotiations, prices, and key terms are performed in close cooperation with Strategic Procurement and SRT
  • Launch planning & supply execution: Plan launch volumes, place and follow up on CMO orders, and coordinate cross-functional activities to secure timely product availability
  • Supply chain & purchasing ownership: Manage purchasing, transportation, receipt of goods, safety stock planning, and handover to daily operations
  • Systems, data & documentation: Initiate item creation and maintain master data in ERP and launch systems, prepare product specifications
  • Quality, regulatory & cross-functional alignment: Support Quality and Regulatory Affairs with supplier documentation and compliance activities, and collaborate closely with PMO, Supply Chain, S&OP, Sales & Marketing, and other key stakeholders

You will be part of the Supplier Relationship Team in CMO Operations and work closely with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Quality and Management, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Business Development and other key functions across Orifarm.

 

Who are you?

You are a structured and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of end-to-end product launch processes. You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience with product launches, preferably in pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and GMP
  • Experience working with ERP systems, data analysis, and financial evaluations
  • Fluency in business English and the ability to work effectively across cultures and organizations

 

Who are we?

You will join the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) responsible for managing Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) outside the EU. The team is part of CMO Operations within Orifarm Supply Chain and operates in a cross‑functional setup including Strategic Procurement, Supplier Operations, and Quality Management.

The SRT works in a matrix organization across five Supplier Relationship Teams, ensuring strong collaboration, alignment, and best‑practice sharing across suppliers and regions.
