IT Project Portfolio Manager

About the job 

As our IT Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment, prioritization, and execution of IT initiatives across the organization. You will ensure that the IT portfolio delivers maximum value to the business by balancing demand, resources, and risk. Additionally, you will manage the IT demand intake process, acting as a gatekeeper for new requests and ensuring they are assessed, categorized, and routed appropriately for evaluation and decision-making.

Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic portfolio management and alignment with business objectives
• Oversight of IT project prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management
• Facilitation of governance meetings and portfolio review boards
• Lead and continuously improve the IT demand intake process
• Collaborate with finance and PMO on budgets and benefits realization.

You will join our newly established Transformation Office and report to the Transformation Lead.

Who are you? 

We expect you to have 5+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, project management, or IT governance. You must possess a strong understanding of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and business processes.

Additionally, you have:

• An analytical mindset with decision-making capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with ITIL, Agile, and waterfall methodologies
