IT Compliance Specialist

About the job

As our new IT Compliance Specialist, you will work together with colleagues in IT, QA, Legal, and the business to ensure that regulatory and internal requirements are met and documented before implementing IT solutions from 3rd party vendors, including GxP-relevant systems and other technologies.

Key tasks:

• Act as a key contributor within a team of compliance and cybersecurity specialists, working together to strengthen compliance, governance and risk management.
• Ensure verification and documentation of compliance with GxP, and other regulatory & internal requirements for IT solutions from 3rd party vendors prior to implementation.
• Develop and maintain processes, SOP’s and documentation to ensure requirement control, audit readiness, and compliance throughout system evaluation, procurement, and implementation.
• Ensure risks are assessed and mitigation measures are embedded, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to requirements.
• Support audits and inspections by providing evidence, and ensuring ongoing compliance monitoring.

You will report to the Department Manager, Anne Ruby Baltsersen, and become a vital part of Cyber Security & Compliance in Corporate IT. 

Who are you? 

You hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in quality compliance within a regulated environment. You have solid knowledge of GxP and experience supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments. Familiarity with Computerized System Validation (CSV) is an advantage.

You may already know some of the broader compliance areas like GDPR, NIS2, or the AI Act – or you are eager to learn them. This role is a great opportunity to expand your expertise beyond GxP into IT security and other regulations. You demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly across stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.
