We are looking for a visionary leader to drive Orifarm’s digital manufacturing journey. As Head of Digital Manufacturing, you will shape the future of our Operational Technology landscape and spearhead innovation across our production and supply chain network.

 

About the job

As Head of Digital Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in transforming Orifarm’s manufacturing and supply chain operations through digitalization, automation, and innovation. You will lead our Operational Technology (OT) and Manufacturing IT team, ensuring strong collaboration between business and IT to deliver smart, secure, and scalable manufacturing systems.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive digital manufacturing strategy, integrating AI, IoT, MES, robotics, and automation technologies.
  • Driving innovation and new technology exploration from digital twins to drones and smart factory solutions.
  • Ensuring cybersecurity and compliance within Operational Technology areas, including NIS2 readiness.
  • Leading onsite IT operations and OT teams across production sites, focusing on upskilling, prioritization, and high service levels.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain Management and the Executive team on strategic directions in OT and Digital Manufacturing.

You will report to the Orifarm CIO, and be part of the Corporate IT Leadership Team, collaborating closely with Supply Chain Management and local manufacturing leadership.

You are a strategic and innovative technology leader with a deep understanding of how digitalization can transform manufacturing performance and resilience. You thrive in complex stakeholder landscapes and have a passion for exploring new technologies that enable scalable growth.

 

We imagine that your profile includes:

  • 7–10 years of experience in digital manufacturing, OT/IT integration, or industrial automation leadership.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale digital transformation programs, ideally within life sciences, pharma, or regulated industries.
  • Expertise in MES, ERP, IoT, AI, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, Lean/Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cyber security in OT environments and knowledge of NIS2 or ISO 62443 compliance frameworks.
  • Educational background such as a master’s in Engineering, IT, or Industrial Management or related field.
  • You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment. Danish proficiency is an advantage but not required.
