Head of Corporate Quality Systems
Odense S, DK, 5260
Orifarm has launched Fit to Scale, our strategy to grow revenue from €2 billion to more than €3 billion by 2031. We are looking for an experienced quality leader to build a simple, harmonised and scalable Quality Management System that supports our continued growth across Europe
About the job
This is an important time to join Orifarm. Our growth ambitions require a strong and scalable quality foundation. One QMS - our common Quality Management System across Orifarm - is therefore a key strategic priority.
As Head of Corporate Quality Systems, you will own Orifarm’s global QMS and lead the One QMS transformation. Working closely with Quality Heads, operational sites, sales countries, Corporate IT and business leaders, you will ensure that common quality processes are practical, effective and consistently applied across the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define the global QMS strategy and roadmap and lead the transition to One QMS
- Harmonise and simplify quality processes across functions, countries and operational sites
- Build strong partnerships with Quality Heads and local leaders to agree, implement and sustain common standards
- Govern and maintain the global QMS, including quality policies, procedures and the electronic Quality Management System
- Act as process owner for corporate quality processes and ensure continued compliance and inspection readiness
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalisation, including the appropriate use of AI to simplify quality processes
- Own the global quality KPI framework and lead the Management Review process, providing senior management with clear insight into quality performance, risks and improvement priorities
- Lead the global Quality Culture programme and promote a proactive, patient-focused quality mindset
You will report to the VP, Quality Management and lead a team of Senior QMS Specialists. The position is based in Odense, Denmark, with a hybrid working model requiring three days per week on site.
Who are you?
You bring at least ten years of experience in pharmaceutical quality management or another highly regulated industry, such as biotechnology, medical devices or healthcare. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, engineering, chemistry or a related discipline.
You have extensive experience with global Quality Management Systems and a proven track record of leading quality transformation and harmonisation in a global matrix organisation. You understand relevant GxP requirements and have supported regulatory inspections and audits. Experience with electronic quality systems is essential.
You bring a strong LEAN and continuous-improvement mindset and can identify opportunities to make quality processes simpler, more effective and digitally enabled, including through the appropriate use of AI.
As a leader, you build trust, create commitment and work effectively across functions, countries and sites. You combine strategic and risk-based thinking with the ability to challenge constructively. You are comfortable engaging with senior leaders and regulatory inspectors and bring the integrity, resilience and drive required to lead a significant transformation.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.

Founded in Odense, Denmark in 1994 by Birgitte & Hans Bøgh-Sørensen, we have built our business on challenging conventional thinking to make affordable high-quality pharmaceuticals more accessible across Europe. Rather than developing new medicines, we focus on finding smarter ways to bring existing treatments to patients, creating value for pharmacies, healthcare systems, and society.

We encourage people to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and take ownership. Across teams, functions, and markets, you will find a collaborative and supportive culture built on trust, respect, and a flat hierarchy where everyone has a voice and direct access to decision-makers.

We offer autonomy and great opportunities for career advancement, enabling our employees to shape their professional development. We value flexibility and provide a hybrid work model with the possibility of working from home two days a week.
