About the job

As our Global Portfolio & Marketing Manager, Consumer Healthcare you will have two main objectives: 1) Maintain a healthy, commercially relevant and optimized Consumer Healthcare Portfolio across categories and markets, and 2) Drive and own one of our global Consumer Healthcare categories across markets in accordance with the business objectives and the commercial strategy.

The role ensures strong day-to-day portfolio management across categories and markets. This requires strong analytical skills and a solid commercial understanding combined with an ability to ensure stakeholder management along the value chain. Furthermore, the role ensures category ownership of a specified global Consumer Healthcare category (e.g., Allergy) which includes maintenance and development of the category through marketing initiatives, launch of new products, best-practice sharing across markets as well as continuous performance follow-ups.  

Your key responsibilities:

  • Define and drive yearly cross-country strategy plan for the given Consumer Healthcare category
  • Ensure cross-country marketing initiatives and best-practice sharing to support the growth journey
  • Further build the product pipeline in close collaboration with the Business Development team
  • Portfolio analysis across the full Consumer Healthcare portfolio to identify optimization opportunities in accordance with the commercial strategy
  • Owning and driving pruning processes in collaboration the global- and local marketing teams
  • P&L responsibility for the given Consumer Healthcare category
  • Manage advertising & promotion budget securing investment in projects that drive the best ROI
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across the value chain, local marketing teams as well as external stakeholders such as creative agencies

In this role you will report to Director, Global Marketing, Malene Reimers. Please note that this position is a parental cover lasting 12 months. but we expect to extend the position following the maternity cover to support our growth journey.

 

Who are you?

The ideal candidate brings a relevant educational background and minimum 5 years of experience from a somewhat similar position within an international consumer-focused organization, preferably in the Consumer Healthcare sector.

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, solid commercial understanding and great communication skills. You have a structured and well-organized approach and can manage complex projects effectively, while your analytical competencies enable data-driven decision-making and clear recommendations.

As a professional, you work independently and have successfully managed product portfolios and led brands or categories. Additionally, you have exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience working in a matrix organization as this role requires collaboration across diverse teams and functions.

Lastly, you must be an empathetic team player with good interpersonal skills.
