About the job
We are looking for an experienced employment law professional who thrives at the intersection of employment law and HR Operation. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor on Danish employment law matters and increasingly supporting on international employment law cases, M&A and new country entries partnering closely with People & Culture colleagues and line managers.
As a key member of our HR Operations team, you will have the opportunity to influence how we work, drive high-quality, compliant, and consistent HR processes in Denmark and throughout our international organization. This is an exciting opportunity to combine specialist expertise with meaningful involvement in HR projects and business initiatives.
You will be a key member of the Danish HR Operations team, working closely with our Global HR Operations colleagues to drive consistency, share expertise, and support the delivery of high-quality services. As our HR Operations function continues its transformation into a truly global setup, this role offers an exciting opportunity to expand your impact and help shape the future of HR Operations.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, terminations, organizational changes, and other employee-related issues.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance with employment legislation.
- Partner with People & Culture colleagues on complex employee relations cases.
- Provide guidance to and coordinate with our global People & Culture Operations team through in dept knowledge and a hands-on experience with the Danish processes.
- Contribute to the standardization and governance of HR processes, ensuring global practices are adapted to local requirements where needed.
- Support country managers and People & Culture colleagues across our international markets on employment law matters supported by local external legal support.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects focused on compliance, process improvement, and harmonization.
In this role, you will report to Director, HR Operations and Compensation & Benefits, Thomas Bech Hansen.
Who are you?
We imagine that you have a degree in Law and at least five years of experience in employment law, ideally gained in-house, at a law firm, or through a combination of both. You are a strong collaborator who thrives on translating legal assessments into practical business solutions.
As a person, you are structured, pragmatic, and business-oriented, with a genuine interest in HR processes. You excel in managing competing deadlines and multiple deliveries at once whilst still ensuring a high level of service to your stakeholders and team.
You communicate fluently in both Danish and English, verbally as well as in writing.
