We are looking for a Domain Architect to join our Business Engagement and Platform Solutions team, where you will take domain ownership of the application and platform architecture and drive alignment across our architecture practices.
About the job
The role combines architectural ownership with close business engagement. You will define and maintain the target architecture for applications and platforms, contribute to solution design together with our solution architects and delivery teams, and act as a trusted architectural advisor to the business areas you support. Your key responsibilities
- Take domain ownership of Orifarm's application and platform architecture, including current state, target state and the roadmap between them
- Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes, priorities and ambitions, and translate these into application and platform solutions
- Drive the architecture forum by setting the agenda, preparing decisions and ensuring alignment across the solution, data, integration and infrastructure architecture practices
- Support solution architects and delivery teams through design reviews, architectural guidance and joint solution design
- Develop and maintain reference architectures, design patterns and architectural standards for the application and platform domain
- Drive simplification of the application portfolio through consolidation, lifecycle management and modernization of key applications
- Support the evaluation, selection and integration of new applications and platforms, ensuring that they can be operated and maintained sustainably
Who are you?
We are looking for a pragmatic and business-oriented architect who is comfortable moving between technical design and stakeholder dialogue. You communicate clearly, and you create alignment through collaboration and professional credibility.
We imagine your profile includes:
- +5 years of experience within solution, application or platform architecture, or a background as a senior developer, lead engineer with relevant architectural experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into concrete application and platform solutions
- Good understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, as well as ERP ecosystems and modern integration patterns
- Experience facilitating architectural decisions across teams and disciplines, for example through design reviews or architecture forums
- Experience from a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, life science or medical devices is an advantage
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks is an advantage, with emphasis on practical application rather than formal certification
- Professional proficiency in English. Danish or German is an advantage

You will be part of Business Engagement & Platform Solutions, a function of approximately 40 colleagues across three business-aligned solution teams as well as architecture and integration practices with direct reference to the VP of Corporate IT. Moreover, you will join an organization where IT plays a central role in enabling the business strategy, driving commercial outcomes.
