Department Manager ERP, Supply Chain and Finance Application Delivery

Do you have experience in leading and developing the department to deliver high-quality digital solutions aligned with business needs and IT strategy? We are looking for a Department Manager who can drive team performance, agile practices, and stakeholder satisfaction through strategic leadership and hands-on management. The manager will lead the department that develops and supports applications within Supply Chain Management Systems (SCM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Financial Management Systems (FMS).

 

Key Tasks :

Set Direction, Define Goals & Build Purpose

  • Ensure direct reports have meaningful, ambitious goals aligned with strategies.
  • Clearly define roles and priorities for all team members, building a strong sense of purpose.
  • Align team capacities with Product Owner for shared business objectives and delivery plans.

Delegate, Empower & Follow-Up

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, empowering team members to own their tasks.
  • Oversee resources, budget, and performance with the Product Owner’s collaboration.
  • Systematically follow up on delegated work to ensure expected outcomes and accountability.

Coach & Develop Direct Reports

  • Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team.
  • Support professional and personal development of team members.
  • Integrate coaching into daily leadership, fostering continuous growth and improvement
  • Coach and drive agile best practices (ITIL4, Scrum) with Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
  • Foster a high-performing, open, and trusting team culture.
  • Skilled in change management and transforming teams, tasks, processes, skills, and people.

Improve Performance & Deliver Feedback

  • Ensure team members understand their performance levels and expectations.
  • Use performance assessments constructively to drive improvement and address challenges.
  • Communicate transparently with stakeholders and align regularly with the Product Owner.

Select Team Members & Build the Team

  • Select and onboard high-performing team members who support Orifarm’s goals.
  • Foster strong team spirit, engagement, and collaboration.

Governance, Training & Audit Readiness

You must understand your individual responsibilities and keep yourself continuously trained according to your duties:

  • Maintain training, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Continuously update your training documentation.
  • Read and stay up to date with all relevant and assigned SOPs and follow them as described.
  • All activities assigned to you must comply with the governance rules set out for Corporate IT e.g., service ownership, road mapping, maintaining system descriptions/cataloging.
  • Available for planned and unplanned audits (external and internal) and inspections, with reasonable notice.
  • Writing and maintaining SOPs, policies, etc., if you are responsible for a process(es), and ensuring that these SOPs are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • If assigned, then handling deviations includes conducting root cause analysis, developing, and implementing corrective actions, ensuring continuous progress, and implementing preventive measures to avoid future deviations.
  • If assigned to you, then, system validation work, risk assessments etc.

 

Who are you?

You have:

  • Proven leadership in IT development, build and delivery teams.
  • Experience in one or more of the areas SCM, ERP, or FMS.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and OKR or quarterly planning methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries (pharma, life science, healthcare) is a plus.
  • Skilled in management teams, cross-team collaboration, and remote team management.
  • Situational, Inspirational leadership, growth mindset, strategic thinking, and adaptability.
  • Strong decision-making, integrity, and collaboration.
