About the Job
We are at the beginning of an ambitious data journey and as Orifarm’s new Data Architect, you will take ownership of the architectural design of Orifarm’s future central data platform & data products and ensure our data foundation & Data management practice power reliable, high-quality solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and own the end-to-end architecture of Orifarm’s current & future data platform, covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption
- Define data models and architectural patterns for core domains such as Product, Customer, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Drive the technical MDM architecture, including data modeling, matching/merging strategies, and downstream consumption
- Navigate our existing, legacy data landscape and design the roadmap to transition into a modern, scalable, and secure architecture aligned to regulatory requirements
- Drive the data and analytics roadmap, ensuring architectural alignment with enterprise goals and business objectives
- Partner directly with our Data Engineering, Data Science and BI teams to ensure your architectural designs translate into robust, scalable, and well-documented implementations
Who Are You?
You are a technically strong Data Architect with +10 years’ experience who has deep experience driving the modernization of legacy data environments and designing scalable and secure architecture. You can explain complex data concepts in a clear and convincing manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong experience designing and implementing modern data architectures in cloud environments (ideally Azure)
- Solid hands-on understanding of data engineering patterns, including data ingestion, transformation pipelines, and orchestration
- Proven experience with data modeling for analytical and operational use cases
- Experience working with MDM concepts and solutions, with focus on architecture and implementation rather than policy
- Good understanding of data platforms, including data lakes/lakehouses, analytical databases, and semantic layers
- Ability to work closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working data solutions

Currently, we are transitioning toward a modern, cloud based architectural landscape. This includes designing, building, and operating a central data platform, automated data pipelines, and a robust MDM setup aimed at delivering high value data products across the business.
