We are looking for a candidate curious to explore new opportunities and constantly seek new options through market trends analysis within the pharmaceutical business. As a Business Developer, you will enter into our Business Development Team, where we work with developing our product portfolio within parallel import. As a member of our team, you will explore our nine sales markets and 27 purchase markets to identify new products and business opportunities.
It will be your task to ensure growth within your area of responsibility in specific therapeutic indications, being the expert on what is new, what the upcoming blockbusters are, and what is becoming obsolete.
You will have broad cooperation across the whole organization, engaging with stakeholders on a daily basis and in a proactive way, and simultaneously navigating in a very competitive external environment.
About you
We expect you to have a relevant background, preferably with some experience from a similar role – but most importantly, you have commercial flair and a passion for achieving great results. Cross-organizational know-how from a dynamic commercial environment and experience in the pharmaceutical industry can be an advantage but is not a requirement.
You must be attentive to details and have an analytical mindset, enabling you to conceive the complexity of the value chain and our processes. A good understanding of processes and procedures is a plus, and you need to enjoy working independently and systematically towards our objectives, deep diving into data, with a flair for the use of different IT systems.
As a professional, you are self-driven and outgoing, with a proactive and can-do attitude. You enjoy engaging with diverse individuals to reach mutual goals. Being curious, having a team-player mentality, and understanding how to identify your stakeholders will help you succeed in this role.
Who are we?
You will become part of a team with 10 dedicated colleagues with various tasks. We have a strong team-spirit which includes both social and professional sparring. Each of us has our own area of responsibility which we take deep pride in succeeding with, but we also value our close cooperation and giving and receiving feedback to help us grow.
We evaluate and identify new products, create master data, initiate and track the relevant processes and ensure the launch of products and succeeding in our value chain requires close cooperation with Sales and Purchase, as well as close coordination with Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
