About the job

With a recent reorganization of corporate functions, your primary role will be to create valuable impact by serving as the strategic financial advisor for senior management teams, ensuring business decisions are based on solid financial analysis. You will be providing transparency of financial information, supporting, and influencing key operational and strategic decisions by interpreting, explaining, and driving informed decision-making. Moreover, you will facilitate performance dialogues to improve OpEx ratio and initiate actions supporting the overall strategy.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business's cost drivers. Proactively challenge existing practices, driving efficiencies, and deliver insights as well as guidance in support of growth and future performance.
  • Supporting the strategic and tactical priorities by being a transformative force in enhancing decision-making, resource utilization, and overall financial outcomes.
  • Conduct monthly cost follow-up on operating expenditures for several corporate functions.
  • Provide monthly commentary on corporate functions cost variances as part of the monthly cost follow-up process.
  • Support the financial rolling forecast process for corporate functions, ensuring comprehensive inclusion of all planned business activities.
  • Prepare financial communication materials for dissemination to business units and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with financial plans.

 

Who are you?

Ideally, you are an experienced Management Consultant, Financial Business Partner, Business Analyst or similar. Previous experience in an international organization is preferred. Your experience should demonstrate a proven track record in delivering strategic insights and driving financial performance. Additionally, your experience has equipped you with the skills needed to navigate diverse environments and to understand various stakeholder needs.

 

To excel in this position, you must effectively challenge and engage in constructive discussions with top management leaders. This skill is essential for fostering innovative thinking and strategic business planning.

Who are we?

The Finance Business Partner team consists of 8 dedicated colleagues, who have embarked on a journey to become influencers/strategic partners to the business (including central functions). The team members are acting as ambassadors between Finance and the business, ensuring that finance perspectives and insights are an integrated part of decision-making in the business. Also, the team is responsible for making sure that business demands for reporting, analysis, etc. are communicated to relevant colleagues in Finance.

Job Location

The job is located at our headquarter in Odense. It is expected that you spend a minimum of 2-3 days at the office and some travel to be expected.
