Facility Operations Project Specialist

About the job

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead facility and infrastructure projects from planning to implementation
• Coordinate CAPEX projects, timelines, budgets, and project milestones
• Support the development and optimization of site infrastructure
• Manage external suppliers and service providers while ensuring service quality
• Participate in supplier selection and tender processes
• Drive initiatives focused on energy efficiency and cost optimization
• Collaborate closely with Facility, Engineering, Production, Quality, HSE, and other departments
• Monitor project risks and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements and digitalization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements

Who are you?

• Secondary or university degree in Engineering, Construction, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Experience in Facility Management, technical building management, CAPEX projects, or operational projects
• Proven project management experience from initiation to implementation
• Experience managing suppliers and external contractors
• Understanding of building infrastructure and technical systems
• Experience with budgets, investments, and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Czech and English

Who are we?

This position is part of a Facility Operations team that is currently being built and strengthened to support the future growth of our site in Hostivice. You will report directly to Josef Komžák, Operations & Services Manager.  You will work closely with another Facility Operations Specialist who focuses primarily on Health & Safety activities. In addition, you will collaborate with a dedicated Maintenance team of seven technicians, who also report to Josef and play a key role in ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.
