About the job
As the Site Head, you will have overall responsibility for the entire Hobro plant including production site strategy, GMP compliance, financial performance, development and optimization of site processes, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
You will have the overall responsibility of the 58 employees where you will continue to ensure a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centricity. Through your management style, you will inspire and empower a high-performing team while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Your key responsibilities and primary task include:
- Develop and execute production site strategy in order to contribute to Orifarm’s strategic goals
- Ensure compliance with all legal, quality, and environmental health and safety standards
- Ensure best practice in production processes and KPIs to ensure timely delivery of products
- Enhance lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives through the whole value chain
- Develop and manage the site budget
- Lead and develop site leadership team and leaders across all levels of the local organization
- Ensure a successful collaboration with colleagues in the headquarter in Odense and our sister site in Poland
In this position, you will report to VP, Product Supply Specialty Rx & Consumer Healthcare, Frank Hoffmann.
Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with an educational background in pharmacy, engineering, or chemistry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or production environment. However, experience in related industries such as food, dairy, nutrition, or energy is also valuable.
We seek someone with a solid experience in regulated industries, with a proven understanding of GMP, quality standards and safety—both for employees, patients and customers. It will be highly advantageous if you have experience with continuous improvement or the Lean framework, as you will continue to implement and drive initiatives in this area.
You must have at least 5 years of leadership experience, including managing diverse teams where you are able to foster a strong sense of belonging and a great working culture. You excel in communicating with different stakeholders and manages to ensure strong collaboration within your team.
Proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken, is required.
