About the job
As Head of Commercial you will play a pivotal leadership role in developing and executing the UK commercial strategy for NHS (licensed and unlicensed sales) and wholesale/retail segments across parallel trade, generics and unlicensed product portfolios. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment that drives commercial success.
Additional key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Lead and motivate the UK sales and commercial team, ensuring alignment with business goals and individual growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets across NHS hospitals and retail/wholesale channels.
- Foster a collaborative working environment with local and international teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment.
- Manage budget and financial expectations and performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Work together with the UK leadership team to ensure alignment on business objectives and company performance.
- Stay informed on UK healthcare and retail pharmaceutical trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide day-to-day oversight, coaching, and development of the sales team.
In this position, you will report to the General Manager, Matthew Legge.
Who are you?
We seek a candidate with proven experience in a Commercial role, preferably in pharmaceutical sales into the NHS and/or Wholesale and retail sectors.
You will have a strong commercial understanding and an ability to identify opportunities.
As a professional, you possess great interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate your team. You also feel a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
You pride yourself on your ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
As Orifarm is an international company, you must be proficient in English and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Our office is located in Hemel Hempstead, UK. We have a flexible working policy and can consider remote working where this is required.
