Leading Quality in Orifarm PL
As a Site Quality Head in Orifarm PL, you will develop and implement a site quality strategy, to ensure it meets business requirements and customer deliverables (i.e. for rational and cost-effective implementation of quality operations).
You will monitor and improve the performance against the local quality organization’s KPIs. Moreover, you will lead the site Quality Council and hence, lead regulatory audits/inspections as required. It includes conducting self and global inspections and to take appropriate measures to address and/or correct identified deficiencies as well as timely providing documents to authorities and internal controllers.
Another key responsibility is to ensure sufficient QP resources are available as well as to develop future QPs within the organization. For example, you will prioritize training and further education across the local quality organization and ensure the development of SOPs safeguarding regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, company SOPs and Environmental Health and Safety policies.
You will manage the performance and, importantly, the development of direct reports, elevating Orifarm’s capabilities for now and the future. In relation to this, you will carry out staff appraisals and establish their goals derived from own goals, company strategy and company mission statement.
Further, your responsibilities include:
- Preparation, alignment and execution of departmental budget
- Providing information to the relevant authorities and to advise Orifarm globally, other manufacturers and partner companies in as far as the area of responsibility of Quality Control is concerned
- Actively participating as a member of the Site Leadership Team, which includes informing them of any potential changes in legislation that may impact the business, as well as aligning on people selection, talent moves & budgeting
- Promoting communication and cooperation with the other departments as well as with other Orifarm sites
An experienced leader with an understanding of the Polish Drug Laws
You have 10 – 15 years of management experience in Quality in a GMP environment in the Pharmaceutical Industry and a strong understanding of the Polish Drug Laws. You are also experienced in leading a team/teams in an international environment. You possess s scientific or engineering education (BSc, MSc, PhD).

- Strong analytical abilities in order to make competent decisions based on the review of data
Additionally, you are fluent in Polish and in written and spoken English.
Who are we?
The department consist of 115 employees. The unit consists of 4 departments: Quality Control, Operational Quality Assurance, Quality Systems & Quality Compliance, Validation. Additionally, QPs report to this role. As a SQH, you will need to cooperate with all departments within the site and other Orifarm sites. Location
You will primarily have your daily work at Orifarm's site in Lyszkowice (Lodz Voivodeship), Poland. We emphasize a flexible workday, where all employees have the opportunity to work from home two days a week, if desired by the employee and it aligns with the tasks at hand.
